Welcome
I am a contemporary artist based in Perth, Australia and Petworth, England. My work is influenced by my background in interior design and decades of international travel which infuse my paintings with a dynamic and complex aesthetic, reflecting my life.
My abstract compositions are known for their bold use of design and multi-layering of opaque and transparent paint, which conceal and reveal my signature mark-making and collage. My varying colour palettes are a response to the seasonal light and natural geography around me, depending on my studio location.
I create expressively elegant paintings, derived from treasured journeys through distant landscapes, both spiritual and geographical.
