Welcome
I am a contemporary artist based in Perth, Australia and Petworth, England. My work is influenced by my background in interior design and decades of international travel. These external factors infuse my paintings with a dynamic complexity, juxtaposed with a calm expansiveness. An aesthetic, reflecting my life.
My abstract compositions are known for their bold use of design and multi-layering of opaque and transparent paint, which conceal and reveal my signature mark-making and collage. The varying colour palettes are my response to the seasonal light; natural geography around me, depending on my studio location, and the feeling and energy I wish to convey.
I create expressively elegant paintings, derived from treasured journeys through distant landscapes, both spiritual and geographical to enrich your home or workspace.
