‘Urban Shift’ is an original contemporary abstract painting in Mixed Media on Linen 100 x 150 x 4 cm. The composition was inspired by the shift of city dwellers moving to the countryside, due to the impact of the Covid Pandemic in Britain. This expressive painting has feel of industrial, dense, urban development, versus spaciousness, and freedom.

A colour palette of tonal greys and ochres is enlivened by the addition of of pale blue, red, yellow and purple. This textural artwork has the design painted around all edges and no framing is required. It is ready to hang.
